The Sourcing
We use FSC certified domestic wood, sustainably sourced and cruelty-free wool that is also Oeko-Tex 100 Certified, offerings of organic, natural and synthetic fabrics without flame retardants, ozone depleters, heavy metals, phlalates, or pesticides.
The Sustainability
We try to ship blanket wrapped furniture as much as possible. When not possible, we next reach for recycled materials, and only use new materials as a last resort.
The Spark
Since 2005, we’ve been learning all we can and trying to further the conversation on sustainability in our industry. The more we saw how furniture is typically made, the more sure we were that we wanted to make it the best way possible: with clean, eco materials, local manufacturing, and an emphasis on quality and comfort. We aren't perfect, but we care about doing better and make changes as often as possible to improve our practices. We want to improve how the industry thinks about making furniture, and encourage people to think about what goes into their homes.
The Differentiator
We are as frustrated as you are by the greenwashing that exists. We think all industries need to do better in addressing climate change, so we're doing our best to make a dent in furniture. We also offer a 100 day trial with free returns just to make sure you're happy with your purchase.
